Racquet (Racket) & Paddle Sports

Who hasn’t tried ping pong (table tennis!) before? I know I always had a friend with a ping pong table in their basement.

This hobby type is focused on activities that require a racquet or paddle, and usually a net, enclosed space, and ball.

  • Badminton – A racquet sport played indoors, badminton involves hitting a shuttlecock back and forth over a high net.

  • Crossminton / Speedminton: Crossminton, also known as speed badminton, is a fast-paced racket sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and squash. Played without a net, crossmitton can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors, making it a versatile and exciting sport for players of all skill levels.
  • Pickleball: Pickleball is a fun and fast-paced paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis.
  • Racquetball: Racquetball is a fast-paced sport that involves hitting a ball against a wall with a racquet. It’s a great way to stay active and improve hand-eye coordination.
  • Squash: Squash players hit a small rubber ball against a wall, trying to make it unreturnable for their opponent, improving their reflexes and agility.

I think racing is one of the most common hobbies that have existed since the dawn of time. Who didn’t chase their friends, siblings, cousins all over the yard or through the streets?
